Four things we do, done right

Weekly Visits

What happens on every visit

Filter Cleanings

A clean filter keeps circulation strong and the water clear. During a filter cleaning, cartridges are pulled, deep-cleaned, and inspected, and the system is put back together right.

Green to Clean

From green to swimmable

A green pool isn't ruined. It just needs a few days of focused work. Here's how we bring one back.

1

Assess & clear out

We test the water, remove leaves and debris, and see exactly what we're dealing with before treatment starts.

2

Treat & work it

Algae treatment, brushing, vacuuming, and round-the-clock filtration over several visits until the water clears.

3

Balance & hand off

Chemistry dialed back in and the system checked over, then weekly service keeps it from ever going green again.

After: the same backyard pool with clear, sparkling turquoise water after a green to clean
AfterClear and swim-ready

Drain and Restoration

When a pool needs a full reset

Some pools are too far gone for chemicals alone. This one was green through and through, so we took it all the way down and brought it back step by step. We started with draining and pressure washing all surfaces. Once the pool was filled, we applied chemicals to ensure it's ready for use. All six photos below are the same pool, in order.

1

Drain

We pump the pool all the way down so every wall, step, and the floor are exposed, and the algae has nowhere left to hide.

2

Pressure wash all surfaces

Every surface gets pressure washed and scrubbed: walls, steps, spa, and floor, until the shell is back to clean white.

3

Refill

With the shell clean, the pool is filled again with fresh water.

4

Apply chemicals

Once the pool is filled, we test the water and apply chemicals to ensure it's balanced, clear, and ready for use.

Step 1: Drain

We pump the pool all the way down so every wall, step, and the floor are exposed.

Drain: the pool full of green, algae-clouded water at the start of a drain and restoration, before draining
The pool we started withFull of green algae water, too far gone to clear with chemicals alone. This is where draining begins.

Step 2: Pressure wash all surfaces

All four photos below are grouped together: the green pool, the green spa, the beginning of the pressure washing, and the completion of the pressure washing.

Pressure wash all surfaces: the green pool draining down with thick green algae coating the walls, pump and hose running
The green poolDrained down, with thick green algae coating the walls, ready for every surface to be pressure washed.
Pressure wash all surfaces, beginning: the drained pool mid pressure wash, with the steps on the right already cleaned back to white
Pressure washing beginsThe steps are already coming clean while the rest of the shell is still green.
Pressure wash all surfaces: the green spa with one side scrubbed white and the other side still covered in green algae
The green spa, halfway thereWhite on one side, still green on the other. The spa gets the same pressure washing as the pool.
Pressure wash all surfaces, completion: the pool fully drained and scrubbed clean, an empty white shell ready to refill
Pressure washing completeThe whole shell is back to white: walls, floor, steps, and spa. That completes the pressure washing.

Step 3: Refill

With the shell clean, the pool is filled again with fresh water.

Step 4: Apply chemicals

Once the pool was filled, we applied chemicals to ensure it's ready for use.

Refill: the same pool refilled with crystal clear blue water, the spa bubbling, after the drain and pressure washing
RefilledFresh water back in the clean shell, filled and ready for chemicals to be applied.
Balanced and ready for use

The refilled pool is tested and treated, so the water is clear, balanced, and ready to swim, crystal clear with the spa bubbling.

  • Water tested after the refill
  • Chemicals applied as needed
  • Water balanced, clear, and ready for use

Same pool, start to finish: drained, pressure washed, refilled, and balanced by Titan Pools.

About

The person behind Titan Pools

Tanner with his dog Titan, the namesake of Titan Pools, sitting together at home

Hi, I'm Tanner, and this is Titan himself.

I started Titan Pools LLC because I believe a local service business should be simple: show up when you say you will, do thorough work, and treat people's homes with respect. When you hire Titan Pools, you're not getting a rotating crew, you're getting me, the owner, on a route I run myself.

I'm based in Conroe, TX, and a lot of the pools I already service are down in Spring. I'm growing the route closer to my home base on purpose. Tighter routes mean more reliable service for everyone on them.

My faith is a quiet part of why I work the way I do. I figure the work itself should speak: honest pricing, hard work, and doing right by people whether anyone's watching or not.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What's included in a weekly cleaning visit?

Weekly cleanings include brushing all surfaces, vacuuming the bottom, netting all leaves, water testing, and finally administering chemicals. We also empty the skimmer and pump baskets, check your equipment, and send an emailed notification after every visit showing the status of your pool.

Are chemicals included or billed separately?

Chemicals are included within the billing. They are not billed separately, so the chemicals used to balance your water on each weekly visit are covered as part of your regular service.

How does a green-to-clean work, and how long does it usually take?

The green-to-clean works by cleaning or replacing the filters, chemical testing, and administering a copious amount of the needed chemicals to restore the pool back to its blue state. The green-to-clean itself takes about one to two hours, and the pool takes about a day to be restored in most cases.
